Wii Remote Control Functionality for Ashes Cricket 2009

Ashes Cricket 2009 CoverAshes Cricket 2009 is to be released for the Nintendo Wii this August, and gamers will be able to use the Wii Remote to bat and bowl within the game.

The game will feature fully licensed players, kits, and venues from the upcoming Ashes Series, and will enable you to get involved in the action with a number of different gaming modes. You’ll be able to perfect your shot with the Wii Remote, bowl out your opponents with your supreme bowling skill, and lead your chosen country to success/failure in the Series.

Not only will the game feature England and Australia, but six other Test playing nations also.

Ashes Cricket 2009 is bound to be a lot of fun with the Wii Remote, if you’re not a Wii owner however then fear not as the game will also be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Guitar Hero Greatest Hits is Coming

guitar-hero-logoGuitar Hero Greatest Hits is coming, and it’s going to feature tracks from Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s also.

Featuring the greatest tracks from each of these four games; Guitar Hero Greatest Hits will pick up where World Tour left off, and allow you to not only master the guitar with the tracks, but rock out the drum beats, bass lines, and vocals also.

Guitar Hero Greatest Hits is going to be bigger and better than ever, and it’s due out this summer for Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii and PS2 also.

The game will feature 48 master recordings, and for those that love their Guitar Hero then this is most definitely going to be a game that is well worth owning.

14 New Tracks for Rock Band

Rock Band 2Wii gamers are to be provided with fourteen new downloadable tracks tomorrow (March 3rd 2009) in the Rock Band Music Store. Of the fourteen tracks; ten will be from Stevie Ray Vaughan (his entire ‘Texas Flood’ album to be precise), and there’ll also be three tracks from Jimmy Eat World, and one from No Doubt.

New’ is the No Doubt track that will become available, the three tracks from Jimmy Eat World meanwhile will be ‘Futures’, ‘Sweetness’, and ‘Lucky Denver Mint’. ‘Futures’ is from the 2004 Jimmy Eat World album of the same name, ‘Sweetness’ is from 2001s ‘Bleed American’, and ‘Lucky Denver Mint’ is from 1999s ‘Clarity’ album.

All fourteen will be available from the Wii Rock Band Music Store at a cost of 200 Wii Points per track.
