Guitar Hero has been pleasing rock fans for a number of years now, but Activision is now to release a game that will target turntablists across the world; DJ Hero.
Featuring artists such as Justice, 50 Cent, and N.E.R.D., DJ Hero will feature over 80 mixed tracks in total, and will consist of tracks from a number of different genres including hip-hop, R&B, and electronica.
Dance world superstars DJ Shadow, DJ Z-Trip and DJ AM have put together the mixes, and DJ Hero has the definite potential to be absolutely brilliant.
It’ll be interesting to see how all the different elements of DJing are integrated into the gameplay, and should the game prove to be a success then I’m sure that well see many more DJ Hero titles released in the future. How about a DJ Hero Drum & Bass edition, Activision?

The Nintendo Entertainment System was the console with which I enjoyed some of my very first video gaming experiences. If I wasn’t beating levels and eating burgers as Alex Kidd, then I was busting blocks with my head as Mario.
ThinkGeek.com has decided to bring the NES to the world of handheld gaming, and created the Retro Mini which will play all of your favourite NES cartridges.
The system runs on four AA batteries (just like the original Game Boy), and the website claims that the console has a battery life of over 8 hours.
You’ll be the envy of all your friends with the Retro Mini, and given that this handheld system retails for the mere price of $49.99; this is definitely a must have system for all those that love their retro gaming.
If you’re wanting to invest in the Retro Mini then you’ll have to fish out your old NES cartridges to play it, if you can’t find your old NES games though then I’m sure you’ll be able to pick up a few bargain carts from eBay.
Here is the Retro Mini Handheld NES System which is available now from ThinkGeek.com:
